Samhain Kits

 


So I am doing things a little differently for Samhain.
Instead of making up a bunch of kits to put in the shop… I decided that I am only going to do pre-orders for kits this year.

There are two kits to choose from. A smaller and a larger one.  Each kit comes with a special surprise bonus gift valued at $10.00

Small Samhain kit
Includes:
3 Spell dusts
A bag of Graveyard dirt
Mojo Bag
2oz All Hallows Eve Oil
2 herb bags filled with herbs associated with Samhain

The price for this kit is $32.98 +10.95 for medium flat rate shipping
Normally all of these items would cost you more than $45 for everything so you would be saving more than $13.00 on this kit (not counting the value of the bonus gift)
Please order 5 days to one week ahead of whenever you need this kit, this does not include shipping time so you would need to add shipping time to that. This allows me enough time to put the kit together and get it to the post office.

Normally  all these items would cost you more than $85 for everything so you would be saving more than $20.00 on this kit (not counting the value of the bonus gift)

A 6x5 blank book can be added to either kit for an additional $15.98 or purchased on its own for the same price. You would pick a color scheme and theme for the cover of the book. For shipping the book alone without any other items it will be shipped in a small flat rate box for $5.95

Medium flat rate boxes arrive in 2-3 days from shipping date according to the usps website, but I would allow 3-5 days just to be on the safe side.


The veil between worlds start to thin around the early middle of Oct and are thinnest on Samhain eve (Oct 31st) which is the best time to commune with spirits and perform any kind of divination. It ends being as thin around the early middle of November.
This is also a great time for showing respect for the dead. I may write a longer blog on this subject at some point.


Any of my other divination, protection, cleansing, and banishing items are also useful during this time of year. Keep an eye out for sales on these things during the next few weeks.

Tell me which kit you would like to purchase.
Inform me of any other items you are purchasing if you are purchasing more than just a kit or a book. This helps keep your shipping costs low since if I can fit it in the medium flat rate box there will be no additional shipping costs. For the book it will be shipped in a small flat rate box unless added to one of the two kits for combined shipping.

If you are purchasing a book, please include an idea of what you would like the cover to look like, whether you want it to have a theme or not (i.e you may want it to have a Halloween/Samhain theme, a tree of life with real leaves on it, an element theme, etc) If you are having problems coming up with a theme let me know and I can try my best to help.

I will then E-mail you back an invoice for where to go to pay for the items if you are paying via PayPal.
I do accept most major credit cards with a 5% fee added to the total price for those of you who do not have PayPal. If you are wanting to just pay with a credit card I would need the type of credit card you are paying with and your credit card information to input for the payment transaction.
Those are the only two payment methods I currently accept.

Shipping by Christmas and Christmas Specials

I would like everyone to keep in mind that in order to get orders from Lotus Moon Apothecary received by Christmas that orders will need to be placed within the first 2 weeks of December or before. If you have a custom order you need done and shipped to you by then, please give me enough notice to make and ship said item.

Latest I can ship out a package and have it arrive is the 20th of December it says on the USPS website, though I would allow for more time than that. Packages can be shipped via express mail (overnight delivery) if needed upon request but t...he shipping on that would cost a lot more than the normal shipping price and would also include insurance. Not all items up for sale are listed on Etsy or the "shop now" tab on Facebook, so if you see something you want but cant find where to click to buy it, send me a message @ Lotus_moon@hotmail.com and I will direct you to where you need to go, or create a special listing for you.

I would like to mention that Christmas gift wrapping can be added to your order upon request for an additional $1.50

All custom blank books which normally start at $29.99 for a custom job, will be starting at $24.99 between now and December 13th for the holiday season. Books take a decent bit of time to make so please get your order in as soon as possible.

This is a past book of shadows that was made.

This blank book of shadows is one that I am currently working on. This is not the best photo, but its all I could do at the moment.
It is crimson with a gold color center oval, done in oil paints.
Vines wrap around the oval and small pressed tree flowers that resemble roses are on the edges of the four corners.
The pages on the inside of the book have burnt edges.
The book is 9 inches tall and just under 6 inches wide.
This book is not finished yet, I just wanted to show a preview of what is being worked on currently. I am still deciding what I wish to put in the center of the oval.
This book will be up for sale once finished.

Vial necklaces start at $16.50 and go up depending on if you want any stones or charms on the chain (16-18in chain)

Please note that the crystal vials have very small openings so only powdered herbs or gemstones can be put in them at this time.
Here is the list of herbs that are available to be put into the vials:
Lavender buds and flower blooms,
Mint,
Red clover,
Marigold "Calendula",
Rose petals (Red, Pink, Yellow),
Lemon Balm,
Jasmine flower petals,
I also have some small feathers that could be put into vials.

Stone types that I have are:
Amethyst,
Green or Rainbow Fluorite,
Peridot,
&
Citron.

I also have green clover oil that could be put into the glass vials.
I have a corked vial necklace that has green clover oil and green fluorite pieces in it that I have yet to take pictures of. It will be up for sale shortly.

~Crystal Ball Pendulum Necklaces~

I have two different colors available: a translucent one that has a slight silver mirroring to it and one in a colbolt blue color.

The glass spheres are 1/2 an inch around. A multi spiral bead cap sets at the top of each sphere.

These can be used as a pendulum for divination. There are no other adornments on the chains so it will not off set the balance when using as a pendulum.

This necklace in your choice of color is $13.00 each + shipping and comes on a 18 inch hematite chain.

I have many of each color so if you need more than one in the same color let me know.

Large Oak Star Pendulum
Pendulum was made from a branch that had naturally fallen from the tree.
Pendulum is 2 inches in length and 1/2in in width.
It has a star at the top and 3 rings hand burnt around it.
The pendulum comes on a 10 inch chain.
Oak is the tree of - power, endurance, strength, triumph of life,  fatherhood.
It is also associated with the Norse god Frey, and the primary wood of the sacred fire of the Goddess. Oak is associated with fertility, ancestry, and

Pendulum  board has the Theban alphabet inscribed onto it as well as numbers 1-0,  yes, no, ??? for maybe, and ? for not sure or unclear.
As well as hello and goodbye on either sides of the bottom.
Board measures just under 3 inches in height and just over 4 inches in length
Pendulum measures around 1 1/4 inches tall.
